Neal O’Farrell is a nationally recognized security expert and founder of My Security Plan, a firm dedicated to teaching consumers and small business owners how to protect themselves from identity theft. Neal was the first expert to train an entire police department in identity theft awareness and was also the first security expert to have his security awareness programs endorsed by the Department of Homeland Security and the US Chamber of Commerce.

In just the last few years Neal has taught security to more than 3 million users in 120 countries, His identity theft awareness programs have been used by more than 200 police departments, the FBI, DMV, and the US Attorney’s Office. He has also taught security awareness to the employees of ChevronTexaco, Toyota, Cost Plus World Market, bebe stores, and the government of Bulgaria.

Neal has also developed numerous technologies to help in the fight against identity theft, including the first voice recognition-based biometric access control system for online banking, and the Identity Theft Score, the first risk assessment scoring system to help consumers measure and manage their vulnerability to identity theft.
